Without a fight, Boston’s Little Italy will go the way of so many others and will be overrun, decimated and redeveloped into just another sprawling urban commercial district.
Please join us in fighting for Boston’s Crown Jewel. A regional, state and national asset that must be preserved. With your help, we will make certain that Boston’s Little Italy is available for today’s and future generations to enjoy.
In New York, Manhattan’s Little Italy has gone from over 30 blocks to less than three in recent years.
The City has stopped outdoor dining in the North End while allowing it everywhere else throughout Boston singling out and choking off North End businesses.
North End Statues have been vandalized including the decapitation of Christopher Columbus and the City chose to remove it rather than fix it.
The City Cancelled the North End’s premier parade celebrating Italian American heritage.
Proposals are in the works that will further restrict and limit the ability of North End businesses to remain open and operating.
